Vivre Ă Merveille
"The mission of Maison Merveille is to Vivre Ă Merveille, or "live wonderfully." Rooted in family history, it is both a lived philosophy and a space that I was intuitively drawn back to in recent years to rediscover its aliveness. Today, Maison Merveille is a home and creative temple designed to be shared with others, where art and everyday life are inseparable."
— Marion Benoit

Maison Merveille is home to Marion Benoit’s studio, a welcoming guest house, and her family home, all of which invite creatives from all corners to come together and co-create magic. Marion’s art, which ripples through the space, is often inspired by nature and her surroundings, especially the objects found within the house, whose functions have evolved through each generation and its changing needs.

HISTORY
Merveille, meaning wonderful, has remained the name of the residence through its many incarnations, stemming from the original inhabitant who lived by the merveille philosophy. The space has been reinvented by each new generation of the Benoit family.
The original barn and farm house was then refashioned into an inn, a bar, and a motorcycle garage complete with a gas pump. The current stage of this metamorphosis came together under a collaborative fervor of the family whose aim is to highlight the historical layers while breathing new life to the space.
