L’ATELIER CERAMIQUE

Every Wednesday from October to June (excluding school holidays), Marion Benoit welcomes community members who want to develop their artistic voice through ceramics into her studio for classes.

Through a combination of art theory, hand-building, and glazing techniques, Marion guides students step by step in creating original ceramic pieces inspired by their own imagination.

Classes do not include wheel-throwing techniques, and participants are encouraged to attend a series of classes rather than a one-off. This allows students to develop projects over time and gain the most from the experience.

Clémence will guide you step by step through the essential techniques of wheel throwing, from centering the clay to shaping your piece.

A creative and friendly experience, perfect for discovering the magic of the potter’s wheel. Join on your own or share the experience with two, three, or even four participants! No previous experience is required.

Each participant will take home two creations, which will be glazed and fired by Clémence after the workshop. Your pieces will be ready for collection from the studio approximately one month after the class.

Want to take it a step further? An optional ceramic decorating and painting session can be added, allowing you to personalize your pieces before they are glazed and fired.

This workshop is an opportunity for a small group of creatives to step deep into relaxation and creative exploration - with everything taken care of, from materials to shared nourishing meals and the optional add-on of accommodation.

With a maximum of 6 students per workshop, Marion provides individual guidance, from sketching art forms to learning hand-building techniques.

In this glazing workshop, join ceramic artist Marion Benoit for an exploration of high fire ceramic glazing, working with a curated palette of 36 glazes designed for layering, interaction and rich surface effects.

Open to both beginners and experienced makers, the workshop combines precise guidance with creative freedom - creating a perfect environment for family or friends to come together to share the experience.

Stoneware pieces are shaped and bisque-fired in the studio. The price per piece includes glazing and firing. The fired piece can be collected or shipped after 2 to 7 days.
